Down And Oot
Ross Perkins was born and raised in Southport and began a career managing bars and nightclubs in the town centre. He went on to open several nightspots, including the underground and Kahiki bar.
Managing bars at some of the UK’s biggest events and festivals, several years ago he opened an event staffing agency, Burn Everything Event Staffing, which supplies bar staff to a variety of events across the country.
Working in events and seeing some amazing food outlets ignited a passion of good food which has led him to create ‘Down & Oot’ Canadian food outlet for the brand new Southport Market.
The menu consists of a selection of Canadian breakfasts, hot sandwiches, premium steaks and Poutine, the Canadian national dish which is chips, cheese and gravy with a selection of toppings.
